Applying Jungian 'Active imagination' in professional settings

Starts: 7 March 2009

Saturday 7th March 2009
10.00am – 3.00pm
Glamorgan Building, Cardiff University, King Edward VII Avenue, Cardiff

Many of us realise at some stage in our lives that we have more to offer than we allow ourselves. Carl Gustav Jung developed the method of Active Imagination for getting in touch with our inner life. According to Jungian psychology, working with inner images through techniques, such as visualisation and the arts, sidestep cognitive blocks and enable personal growth and self understanding.

This day course introduces theory and practice with particular attention to applications in professional settings such as health care, business and education.

Facilitated by

Raya Jones, Ph.D., a lecturer at School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University, who has published extensively about Jungian psychology.
