Scholarships
We offer a number of scholarships for particular courses, and for students who achieve exceptional exam results.

School of Welsh scholarship (also known as the Creative Minds scholarship) | Undergraduate students electing to study Welsh with us. | There are three scholarships available, each worth £1,000 each. Find out more on the School of Welsh webpages. |
Scholarships for studying in Welsh | Students who study part of their course through the medium of Welsh. | Up to £3,000 over three years |
The Aberfan Children's Scholarship | Students whose parents lived in Aberfan during the Aberfan 1966 disaster, or students who currently live in Merthyr Tydfil. | Up to £1,500 over three years |
Cowrie Foundation Scholarship | This scholarship is for Black African and Black Caribbean heritage, UK domiciled applicants from socio-economically under-represented backgrounds. | Up to £8,000 for each year |
Scholarships for international students
Funding scholarships for international students can provide vital financial support, enabling you to pursue higher education abroad. These scholarships often cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other academic costs, easing the financial burden of studying in another country.
