Opportunities to join the newly established Rodrigues laboratory at The European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute.
A multi-million pound flagship Institute with the vision to become an international leader in the field of cancer stem cell research, we are seeking ambitious scientists to join our existing teams to help shape the future of cancer research. Ultimately, the aim is to transform the survival rates for patients suffering from all types of cancer.
Following the initial round of appointments to The European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute, we are pleased to announce 2 additional posts, available immediately in the Rodrigues laboratory.
The laboratory focuses on blood stem cell biology and its dysregulation in the context of blood cancers. The ultimate aim is to apply the findings from our laboratory to devise novel therapies and improve ongoing treatment strategies for blood cancers.

a PhD programme. Following recruitment of key academic staff, we

Clinical Scientist Training/ Work Placements
A part of our vision will be to build a strong bridge between fundamental scientific investigation of cancer stem cells and the application of this knowledge for the treatment of disease. In the laboratories and clinics linked to The European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute, there maybe the opportunity for work placements.
