New Chair of CITER

Professor Jean Yves-Maillard (School of Pharmacy) took over from Professor Alastair Sloan (School of Dentistry) as Chair of the Cardiff Institute of Tissue Engineering (CITER) research network from February 2017.
Professor Maillard said "taking over from Alastair is not an easy task, particularly at time of major changes within this established and recognised University network. However, I believe we have a great opportunity to strengthen and expand further the interdisciplinary nature of this network while consolidating our well recognised and prized outreach activities. I am determined to work with members to ensure that this interdisciplinary network not only fulfils its role but also expands its activities and reach. Together, we can expand this network further and get the CITER network the recognition it truly deserves".
