Core Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the technical area is performing effectively at all times.
  • To provide technical advice and guidance to the administrative, research and teaching & learning effort of the School.
  • Responsible for the supervision of the technical staff and the provision of a technical service.
  • Ensure the satisfactory maintenance and security of the areas and equipment
  • Responsible for the maintenance, operation, construction and development of the Schools radio, television and computer media production facilities.
  • Costing of materials and apparatus as appropriate and as directed.
  • Consultation with and providing advice to staff and students on the development and application of equipment to the teaching function.
