Reading 21st Century Horror Television

The aim of my thesis is to research the marked shift in graphic imagery in TV horror within the context of the 21st century. Comparing it to previous incarnations of television (and the academic literature surrounding it), the research will look at the growth in media technology, various cultural discourses, the rise in transnational cinema, and theories of horror. This research will cover British, American, and Japanese media as case studies.
