7/7 Media Discourse and the "Blitz Spirit": An analysis of British newspaper responses to the July 7th bombings

This research considers the role of myth in media discourses following the July 7th bombings. I am analysing the Blitz spirit and the way in which it was used to describe the situation in London after the attacks by comparing them to the Second World War and the threat of Nazi Germany.
