We are surrounded by language. It is how we represent and shape the world around us. Studying English Language at degree level develops a critical understanding of how language works as a system, how it is used to express identity, and how it can be used to reflect and mould attitudes.
You will be taught by academic staff who work at the forefront of research in their fields and who will give you a unique insight into some of the most up-to-date and innovative work in English language research.
