Careers & Employability organise a variety of careers fairs and events throughout the year to enable you to reach our students and graduates and to talk to them face to face.

Careers Fairs offer an excellent opportunity for you to raise your profile whilst meeting and chatting to a great range of keen and talented students.

Employer Presentations

Host your own event at Cardiff University and present your organisation and opportunities to interested students and graduates. Careers & Employability can assist you in organising a Presentation, suggesting suitable dates and timings, book rooms, managing a “sign up” system and publicising your Presentation.

Presentations are charged at £95 plus VAT. Catering requests are arranged and invoiced separately by Cardiff University’s Catering department. For further information or to discuss your needs in more detail please do not hesitate to contact us.

Showcase Events

Presentations on a larger and more detailed scale involving external contractors and requiring detailed information and support are welcomed, although not always feasible.

Employer Skills Sessions

Deliver a skills session related to the recruitment process to promote your organisation and offer students a valuable insight into what graduate recruiters look for.

Employer Drop-ins

Set up your stand in a public area – typically the foyer of one of our Academic Schools. This informal style of event offers an opportunity to promote your organisation and opportunities to both passers-by and those who drop-in especially to see you. Careers & Employability can assist you in organising a drop-in, suggesting suitable dates and timings, booking venues and publicising your drop-in.

Employer Recruiting Visits

Careers & Employability can assist you in organising your Recruiting Visit suggesting suitable dates and timings, booking rooms, managing a “sign up” system and publicising your recruiting visit.
